Pixel Boost is a series devoted to the artistry of games, and the techniques required to run them at high resolutions. This gallery is brought to you byscreenshot artist Mary K.

Hard Reset is a run-and-gun shooter set in the future. You'll be armed with various weaponry, from machine guns and shotguns to a plasma launcher, a rail gun and more to take on the robot hordes and mechanical enemies. It's pretty good for mindless fun, but I'd still recommend the lesser-known Binary Domain over this every time. In this gallery I focused on the environments, moody and abandoned with lots of cyberpunk lighting and shadows giving them color.
